Cytogenetic Studies in Acute Leukemia

Protocol Description

The purpose of this research study is to determine if patients' response to treatment are related to particular leukemia cells types. When samples are drawn for diagnosis and evaluation as part of standard care, additional tubes of blood and bone marrow will be collected for this study. These samples would be sent to a special laboratory for careful study which will hopefully lead to a better understanding of leukemia.

Eligibility Criteria

Patients with leukemia - multiple myeloma
