Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Aging - Blood Cell Study

B Cell Repertoires in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Aging

Protocol ID

04-046

Protocol Description

This study will compare normal blood cells contained in samples from healthy volunteers to the samples of blood and bone marrow from patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and other blood cell cancers. These studies will hopefully lead to an understanding of the causes of these diseases, as well as the tendency to develop infections and the inability of the immune system to fight off these infections.

Eligibility Criteria

Patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and other blood cell cancers, healthy volunteers
