The purpose of this study is to perform laboratory tests on blood samples drawn from patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and related disorders and to store those samples for future research.  Specifically, Dr. Kanti R. Rai and the Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Research Consortium (CRC) are conducting research studies to find out more about the biology and causes of chronic lymphocytic leukemia.  In addition, the investigators in the CRC are attempting to develop more effective treatments for this disease.
