Hooked on Helping Children

Dale Chaiken, RN, fourth from right, director of community health for the North Shore-LIJ NORC (naturally occurring retirement community) Program, recently greeted representatives from the Deepdale Cares NORC in Little Neck, NY, who are members of the group’s knitting and crocheting club. This caring group made a presentation of handmade blankets, hats and teddy bears that they created for the newborns and patients of Schneider Children’s Hospital.
