ADHD Medication Adherence: A Parent-Provider Intervention

Protocol Description

The goal of this research is to identify the specific attitudes, beliefs, subjective norms, and barriers associated with adherence to ADHD medication treatments. Children who participate will be asked about their ADHD and treatment. Parents will be asked to participate in a focus group regarding the obstacles, interfering habits and other factors tha influence medication aderence. The information collected will be used to develop an intervention to improve medication adherence and persistence in youth with ADHD, as well s parent-provider communication.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Children with ADHD
  • Parents/providers of children with ADHD
