Specialized Spine Center Opens in Lynbrook

The Harvey Cushing Institutes of Neuroscience Neurosurgery and Spine Center at 306 Broadway in Lynbrook celebrated its grand opening on Tuesday, June 10, bringing comprehensive, specialized spinal treatment and procedures, including minimally invasive surgery, radiosurgical treatment and interventional medicine, to the South Shore of Long Island.

Complementing its Great Neck counterpart, the center is staffed by four of Long Island’s top spine surgeons—Mitchell Levine, MD, M. Chris Overby, MD, Peter Hollis, MD, Mark Eisenberg, MD—as well as rehabilitation specialist, Shaheda A. Quraishi, MD, with access to the full range of North Shore-LIJ Health System facilities. The 2,200 square-foot center includes three on-site examination rooms and a large procedure room equipped with state of the art technology, including a C-arm chair designed for spinal injections.
