Systemic Lupus Erythematosus - Clinical Trial (09-02-133)

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single dose-escalation and multiple dose extension trial of NNC 0152-0000-0001 administered i.v. or s.c. in subjects with systemic lupus erythematosus.

Protocol Description

The purpose of this study is to determine the safety of an experimental drug called NNC 0152-0000-0001 and to better understand how ot works in subjects with lupus.  Lupus is a disease of the immune system that can damage many tissues and organs. NNC 0152-0000-0001 is an antibody against Interferon-alphs, a substance made by the human body. Anti-IFN-a is an antibody which blocks the action of IFN-a, which is at a high level in people with lupus and may be related to the cause of lupus.

Patients with systemic lupus erythematosus
