Meningioma Study
RTOG0539: A Phase II Trial of Observation for Low-Risk Meningiomas and of Radiotherapy for Intermediate and High-Risk Meningiomas

Protocol Description
For patients with a newly diagnosed, low-grade meningioma, this study aims to find out whether surgery alone results in a good outcome. For patients with a recurrent low-grade meningioma or a newly diagnosed higher-grade meningioma, this study will attempt to find out what effects, good and/or bad, radiation therapy has on the patiennt and on the patient's tumor. Each of the treatments used in this study are standard of care.

Patients with newly diagnosed or recurrent low-grade meningiomas
