Cat in the Hat Comes to Schneider
In celebration of the 50th birthday of "The Cat in the Hat," the Animazing Gallery in Soho has loaned Schneider Children's Hospital (SCH) the 1,000-pound bronze statue of Dr. Seuss's most beloved character for the next two years. The impressive statue was unveiled at a recent photo opportunity with Philip Lanzkowsky, MD, right, executive director at SCH, Heidi Leigh, left, the gallery's director, and Danielle Blascovich, 7, of Flushing, Queens, who paid tribute to The Cat by reading aloud to reporters, hospital staff and patients.
