North Shore-LIJ Raises $30M at 10th Anniversary Gala

The North Shore-LIJ Health System recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with a fundraising gala at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Manhattan, where 1,300 guests gathered for a star-studded ball that raised $30 million to support capital projects. Funds from the event, which featured musical entertainment from Tony Bennett and Aretha Franklin, will support more than $1.5 billion in ongoing and planned construction throughout the health system, which includes 16 hospitals throughout Long Island, Queens and Staten Island, as well as The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, 13 long-term care facilities and numerous other programs.
