The North Shore-LIJ HouseCalls program serving Nassau, Suffolk and Queens’s counties provides in home visits from Physicians and Nurse Practitioners who are experts in geriatric and internal medicine.  

During the initial visit, the Physician or Nurse Practitioner performs a comprehensive examination and develops a treatment plan suited for the patient. From the ongoing visits to the coordination of services (such as prescriptions, laboratory tests, x-rays and home health care) the HouseCalls program eases the burden for the limited mobility patient who might not otherwise have access to necessary medical care.

The North Shore-LIJ HouseCalls program accepts Medicare and most insurance plans.
