Applicants are screened by an Admissions Committee and are considered without regard to age, sex, race, creed, national origin or physical handicap. Factors considered in the selection criteria are:

1. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution prior to the beginning of the internship program. The transcript must state the degree awarded and the conferral date.

2. Completed Declaration of Intent form signed by the program director of a Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) accredited/approved didactic program in dietetics in which you are currently enrolled. If you have already graduated, please submit an original verification of completion form. The verification statement must bear the original signature of the Official Didactic Program Director with the date in month, day and year format for both the program completion date and the signature date.

3. DICAS online application deadline for the NS-LIJ Dietetic Internship Program is January 17, 2012. Please note the early application deadline. Qualified applicants will be notified regarding a personal interview approximately one week after application deadline.

4. GPA: A GPA of 3.0 or higher is desirable.

5. Mail Application Fee of $50.00 and Application Checklist to:
