Allan Abramson, MD

Dr. Abramson oversees otolaryngology services at NSUH and LIJ. He previously served as chairman of the division of otolaryngology and communicative disorders at LIJ.
Dr. Abramson is professor of otolaryngology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Abramson is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Otolaryngology--Head & Neck Surgery. His professional affiliations include membership in the Society for Ear, Nose & Throat Advances in Children; the Association for Research in Otolaryngology; the New York Academy of Medicine; and the Long Island Society of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Abramson received his medical degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He completed a residency in general surgery at LIJ and a residency in otolaryngology at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, NY.
