Welcome to the Schlanger, Gottlieb, Partners Council Breast Imaging Center. In recognition of the growing need in our community to deliver high-quality, advanced breast screening and diagnostic services in a timely manner, a combined North Shore-LIJ Health System center was created. This comprehensive imaging facility, dedicated to the detection and diagnosis of breast cancer, is conveniently located in the Center for Advanced Medicine.
In a 7,500-square-foot, modern facility, we offer a warm, comfortable and friendly environment for our patients. Our program is fully compliant with all federal, state and local regulations about delivering mammography services. In addition, the center is accredited by the American College of Radiology.
Physicians who are certified by the American Board of Radiology and have advanced subspecialty fellowship training interpret all procedures performed at the Breast Imaging Center. They are fully accredited staff members of both North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. In addition, they hold faculty appointments through the NYU School of Medicine or the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
The screening mammography program at the Breast Imaging Center is designed to provide patients with shorter appointment waiting times, while still maintaining the high quality of service and standard of excellence expected from the North Shore-LIJ Health System. By being located within the health system’s Center for Advanced Medicine, easy access is also available to all of the resources of the adjacent Diagnostic Imaging Center.
We accept all major insurances and offer free, convenient parking.

The Schlanger, Gottlieb, Partners Council Breast Imaging Center, part of the North Shore-LIJ Diagnostic Imaging Center, is located at 450 Lakeville Road, Lake Success, NY. The entrance, which is marked “Center for Advanced Medicine #1,” is directly across from the Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Long Island Expressway (Eastbound)
Exit 33 Lakeville Road. From service road turn right onto Lakeville Road (heading south). Continue one mile and cross Marcus Avenue.
There are two entrances for the Center for Advanced Medicine. For self-parking, at the first light past Marcus Avenue, turn left into Entrance #2 of the Center for Advanced Medicine, lot section ‘B’ in green. For patient drop-off or valet parking, go to the second light and turn left into Entrance #1 of the Center for Advanced Medicine. Follow the signs past the Ambulatory Surgery Center to the Diagnostic Imaging Center.
Long Island Expressway (Westbound)
Exit 33 Lakeville Road. Continue on service road to second traffic light and make a left onto Lakeville Road (heading south). Continue one mile and cross Marcus Avenue. There are two entrances for the Center for Advanced Medicine. For self-parking, at the first light past Marcus Avenue, turn left into Entrance #2 of the Center for Advanced Medicine, lot section ‘B’ in green. Northern State Parkway/Grand Central Parkway (Eastbound)
Exit 25 Lakeville Road. At light make right onto Marcus Avenue. Proceed to traffic light and make left onto Lakeville Road (heading south). There are two entrances for the Center for Advanced Medicine. For self-parking, at the first light past Marcus Avenue, turn left into Entrance #2 of the Center for Advanced Medicine, lot section ‘B’ in green. For patient drop-off or valet parking, go to the second light and turn left into Entrance #1 of the Center for Advanced Medicine. Follow the signs past the Ambulatory Surgery Center to the Diagnostic Imaging Center.
