CT Scans at Southside
CT, or Computed Tomography, produces detailed images of organs through multiple pictures that view the body across a plane, or visual slice. CT creates images of the digestive system's organs, and the lungs, heart, spine, and kidney. They help doctors determine the spread of cancers, pinpoint the location of kidney stones, and more.
Southside's helical CT scanner generates images in about half the time required by earlier generations of CT scanners.
