Cancer

The National Cancer Institute has abundant information on cancer, which is an abnormal growth of cells that divide without control and are able to migrate into other tissue, causing harm. Cancer is many diseases with more than 100 different types now known.  Cancer is defined by the location of the abnormally dividing cells. There are genetic triggers to cancer, as well as environmental.
