Recently, Southside Hospital, announced that Jean M. Cacciabaudo, MD, has joined its staff as Chief of the Division of Cardiology. Dr. Cacciabaudo is board certified in Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology and she is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Currently, Dr. Cacciabaudo is the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Long Island Chapter of the American Heart Association and chairs the Get with the Guidelines Committee to enhance hospital core measures on Long Island. She is proud that Southside Hospital was recognized by The American Stroke Association, a division of the American Heart Association for achievement in using evidence-based guidelines for patient care.
