Cardiology
Located at two of our tertiary hospitals, North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset and Long Island Jewish Hospital, the Sandra Atlas Bass Cardiology Centers provide leading-edge care in state-of-the-art facilities.
The philanthropic support of Sandra Atlas Bass, the cardiology centers’ namesake, has helped create one of the leading cardiac services programs in the country. The center is committed to providing leading-edge cardiac care in state-of-the-art facilities.
Sandra Atlas Bass, who has lived in the Great Neck community since childhood, is a Life Trustee of the North Shore – Long Island Jewish Health System. Philanthropy has been a cause close to Mrs. Bass’ heart. Her generosity continues to have a direct impact on the many thousands of patients who are seen in the cardiology center each year.
Our physicians, nurses and technical staff provide individualized, hands-on care, supported by the newest technologies, including one of the world's first flat-panel digital catheterization laboratories. Advanced research trials and one of the region's largest fellowship training programs also support our comprehensive approach to patient-centered care.
