Welcome to Southside Hospital’s Center for Colorectal Health. We are pleased to offer high-quality, compassionate colorectal care in one convenient location, where you can get a quick appointment, have your procedure with fast results, and, if necessary, be seen by a surgeon who will perform the appropriate surgical procedure or suggest another course of treatment.
At the Center for Colorectal Health, the continuum of care is the key that differentiates our program from those offered by other hospitals. Procedures are performed within two weeks of your primary care physician’s referral. Should further treatment be necessary, you will see a surgeon no later than two weeks after that.

In addition, Southside Hospital is one of only a handful of hospitals in the New York metro area with physicians and staff sensitive to the growing number of patients who choose bloodless medicine/surgery. Patients who do not want blood replacement are guided by specially-trained personnel and identified as not wanting any outside blood source.
