Cynthia McKie-Addy MS, RN

Director of Patient Care Services for Maternal Child Health at North Shore University Hospital

Cynthia McKie-Addy MS, RN, has practiced nursing for over 32 years, all within maternal-child services. Her clinical and administrative experience has been in antepartum, labor and delivery, mother-baby, pediatric medicine and pediatric oncology and hematology. Her roles have included bedside nursing, staff educator, clinical specialist, manager and, most recently, director of patient care services for maternal-child health at North Shore University Hospital.

Cynthia received her associate of applied science degree from Manhattan Community College, her bachelor of science in nursing from Hunter College and a master’s degree from Columbia University in perinatal nursing. She has been part of the department of nursing in various hospitals such as New York Cornell, Harlem Hospital Center, Columbia Presbyterian, Catholic Medical Center and Mount Sinai.

Cynthia is a member of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses as well as the New York Organization of Nurse Executives.
