The Department of Radiation Medicine is located in the Cohen Institute of Oncology Building, Level C. Please usethe entrance through the blue awning near the Valet Parking Area. Free Valet Parking is provided for Radiation Medicine Patients.
(Entrances on Lakeville Road North of Union Turnpike and on 76th Avenue at 271st Street)
Long Island Expressway – Eastbound
Exit 33 – Lakeville Rd., from service road make right turn onto Lakeville Road; proceed south one mile to the medical center. Entrance on the right.
Long Island Expressway – Westbound
Exit 33 – Lakeville Rd., proceed on service road to second traffic light; make left turn under Expressway overpass onto Lakeville Rd., proceed south one mile to the medical center. Entrance on the right.
Grand Central-Northern State Parkway – Eastbound
Exit 25 – Lakeville Rd., make right turn onto Marcus Ave. and proceed to traffic light; make left turn onto Lakeville Rd., proceed south 3/10 mile to medical center. Entrance on the right.
Grand Central-Northern State Parkway – Westbound
Exit 25 – Lakeville Rd., exit under the underpass; bear right around cloverleaf (heading south) to the medical center on the right.
Cross Island Parkway – Northbound or Southbound
Exit onto Long Island Expressway (Route 495) – eastbound or onto Grand Central Parkway; see above for instruction for exits.
Union Turnpike – Eastbound
Make a left at 271st St., proceed two blocks to the LIJ entrance.
Northern Boulevard – Eastbound or Westbound
Turn south onto Lakeville Rd., proceed two miles to the LIJ entrance on the right.

From Eastern Long Island: Take the Long Island Expressway (Route 495) Westbound to Exit 33, Community Drive. Turn right (heading North) onto Community Drive. Proceed down the hill approximately one-half mile to hospital entrance #3, Parking Lot Garage.
From Queens and Manhattan: Take the Long Island Expressway (Route 495) Eastbound to Exit 33,Lakeville Road/Community Drive. Proceed to second traffic light and turn Left(Heading North) onto Community Drive,proceed down the hill approximately one-half mile to hospital, Entrance #3, Parking Lot Garage.
By Railroad: Take the Long Island Railroad Station. The hospital is a short taxi ride from the railroad station.
DIRECTIONS FROM PARKING GARAGE TO DEPARTMENT OF RADIATION MEDICINE
1. Enter Main Entrance of the Monti Pavilion.
2. Take second set of elevators (Tower Bldg)
to the ground (G) level.
3. Follow signs to Radiation Medicine.

Take the Long Island Expressway to Glen Cove Road, Exit 39. Drive north on Glen Cove Road for about 7 miles until it merges with Cedar Swamp Road (Route 107).
Where the roads merge, bear right at the fork and continue north. Shortly after crossing the Long Island Railroad tracks, look for St. Patrick’s Church on the right. Turn right at the church onto Pearsall Avenue, then bear left onto Walnut Road. Just before the hospital, turn left onto Dosoris Way. The parking lot will be on your right hand side.

Free reserved parking is provided for patients using the Don Monti Center. Please use the entrance on Dosoris Way.

From Western Long Island
Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE) to exit 53 South onto Sagtikos Parkway to Southern State Parkway. Bear left at the fork, to East toward East Islip to exit 42 Bay Shore/5th Ave. Turn left off ramp onto Spur Drive South for 1 block to light. The turn right onto 5th Ave going south to Main Street. Turn left, then go east less than 1 mile. Southside Hospital will be on your left. Turn into the first entrance and park in front of the Gulden Pavillion in the designated Radiation Medicine parking lot.
From Eastern Long Island
Take the LIE to the Sagtikos Parkway South (exit 53) towards Bay Shore and follow the above directions. From Sunrise Highway, take the Brentwood Road exit south to Montauk Highway (Main Street). Turn right. The hospital will be less than ½ mile on your right.
