The CPE Program Director Maureen E. Mitchell, RSM, D.Min., is a member of the religious community of the Sisters of Mercy. She received a D.Min. degree from Andover Newton Theological School. She is certified as a CPE Supervisor by both the NACC and ACPE and is a member of both organizations. She has supervised all levels of CPE in a variety of settings including hospice and acute care medical centers. |

The Pastoral Care Department Director The Rev. Jon A. Overvold, M.Div., BCC, is an ordained minister of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and a board-certified chaplain. He is the founding director of pastoral care and education at North Shore University Hospital. He serves on the national board of trustees for the Association of Professional Chaplains, as the chair of the Commission on Quality in Pastoral Services and the convener for endorsement for Specialized Pastoral Care of the Eastern Region of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. |
