This indispensable program is designed to enhance and increase knowledge and skill in delivering critical care in the prehospital environment.

Pediatric Education for the Prehospital Professional (PEPP) Original/Refresher

  • Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) represents a complete source of prehospital medical information for the emergent care of infants and children. Developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics, PEPP is an exciting curriculum designed specifically to teach prehospital professionals how to better assess and manage ill or injured children. PEPP-ALS is a two-day (16-hour) course and PEPP-BLS is a one-day (eight-hour) course.

Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) Original/Refresher

  • The AMLS Provider course is a two-day (16-hour) in-depth study of medical emergencies. This course emphasizes a pragmatic approach and format, based on teaching the provider what they need to know. The curriculum is designed to allow for a minimal amount of lecture and an ample amount of actual hands-on physical assessment of patients.

Geriatric Education for Emergency Medical Services (GEMS) Original/Refresher

  • The GEMS Provider course is a two-day (16-hour) course developed by the American Geriatrics Society and the National Council of State EMS Training Coordinators, GEMS is an exciting curriculum designed specifically to help EMS providers address all of the special needs of the older population.

Critical Care Emergency Medical Transport (CCEMTP)

  • Nationally recognized 11-day, 80+ hour course for Critical Care Transport.

  • Meets standards set forth by the NAEMSE Endorsement Committee.
  • Approved for Continuing Education by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS).

Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Care Transport (PNCCT)

  • Nationally recognized 7-day, 56+ hour course for Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Care Transport.
  • The PNCCT program was developed by Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC) Department of Emergency Health Services.
  • Approved for Continuing Education by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS).
