The Department of Surgery provides a full range of services to our community. The department is comprised of active specialty services, including general, vascular, orthopedic, urologic, plastic and thoracic surgeries. We maintain a bloodless surgery program, a center for comprehensive breast care, and are active in minimally invasive surgery, with specialties in endovascular, thoracoscopic and laparoscopic procedures. We are sure you will receive top-quality care in an environment of caring and concern.
- General Surgery
Includes abdominal surgeries, endocrine surgery and advanced laparoscopic procedures. - Bariatric Surgery
- Neurological Surgery
Includes the full spectrum of neurosurgical operative procedures, including all aspects of cranial, spinal and cerebrovascular surgery. - Orthopedic Surgery
Includes total joint replacement, sports medicine, spine surgery, trauma, hand and podiatric surgery. - Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery
Includes operative procedures on areas of the ear, nose and throat. - Peripheral Vascular Surgery
Includes surgical procedures for the arterial, venous and lymphatic systems. - Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Includes operative procedures that reconstruct damaged tissue and bone, as well as operative procedures for cosmetic purposes. - Podiatry
Provides patients with excellence in both the ambulatory and hospital environment. All aspects of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery are represented, from reconstructive foot surgery to diabetic limb care and preservation. - Surgical Oncology
Surgical oncology encompasses all surgeries related to the surgical treatment of cancer. Specific sub-specialties include: general surgical oncology, head and neck, thoracic, urologic, neurologic, plastic and reconstructive, breast, soft tissue, gastric, pediatric and orthopedic. - Lithotripter Unit and Division of Urology
The Lithotripter Unit and Division of Urology focuses on the treatment of calculus (stone disease of the kidney, ureter and bladder) and on the surgical treatment of genitourinary diseases in men and women.
