Urology at Forest Hills

The Department of Urology at Forest Hills Hospital evaluates and treats calculus disease, incontinence, congenital anomalies, genitourinary oncology, including kidney, bladder, prostate, testes and penile cancer, male factor infertility and male sexual dysfunction.

Treatment therapies include radical nephrectomy, cystectomy and prostatectomy; creation of neo-bladder, continent diversion; pubofacial sling; cystocele and rectocele repair; transurethral resection of prostate and bladder; microwave thermotherapy of prostate; ureteral reimplantation; ureteropelvic junction obstruction; hypospadias repair; implantation of penile prosthesis; artificial urinary sphincter; ureteroscopy, extraction of calculus; and electrohydraulic shockwave lithotripsy of renal stones.

Our brachytherapy program treats men with clinically localized prostate cancer in an effort to eradicate the body of prostate cancer and prolong cancer-free survival. A radiation oncologist performs the procedure in conjunction with the patient's urologist.
