Treating and Managing Chronic Pain
As many as 50 million Americans suffer from persistent acute or chronic pain. This kind of debilitating pain can disrupt work schedules, social and family activities.
There are many different kinds of pain problems. An accurate diagnosis is the key to finding and applying the best possible treatment or method of managing pain. New techniques and medications are available at the Pain Management Center to help those suffering from chronic pain lead more productive and comfortable lives. We treat patients with a wide range of pain problems including:
- lumber/cervical radicuopathy
- low back pain
- head and neck pain
- trigeminal neuralgia
- arthritis
- complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)/reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD)
- cancer pain
- shingles pain
- vascular pain
- occupational or accidental injuries
- peripheral neuropathy
- pelvic and urogenital pain
- postoperative pain
Please have your physician refer you to our Pain Management Center so that you can be seen by a pain specialist who will be able to manage your particular pain problem either with newer or traditional techniques. They may include but are not limited to:
- medication
- patient-controlled analgesia
- surgery
- nerve blocks
- epidural continuous infusion
- epidural steroid injections
- intravenous infusion therapy
- spinal cord stimulation
- intrathecal infusion devices
- radiofrequency ablative techniques
- IDET (Intradiscal Electrothermal Therapy)
- nucleoplasty
