Health Services
The medical component of our program is directed and supervised by a staff of specialists who deliver/arrange for a full range of health services that includes nursing, pharmaceutical, psychiatric and psychological, routine dental, ophthalmology, audiology, radiology, EKG, laboratory and podiatry care.

Therapies
Restorative and maintenance physical, occupational and speech therapies are provided by clinicians who guide participants in achieving maximum levels of self-care.

Nutritional Services
A registered dietitian assesses, counsels and educates participants and their families. Therapeutic diets are provided according to individual medical needs. Kosher meals are available on request. A continental breakfast and daily luncheon are served in a comfortable dining room that affords the opportunity for social interaction. Take-home "cold suppers" are prepared for participants with assessed need.

Social Work
Individual counseling, therapeutic groups, entitlements assistance, advocacy, family support and coordination/referral to community services are offered. Reality orientation is provided for those participants with early signs of dementia.

Recreation
A full recreational therapy program assures a positive atmosphere. Both individual and group activities are offered on an ongoing basis. Care is taken to nurture individual interests, cultures and abilities, which enhances the level of functioning. Recreational therapies include music, arts, crafts, exercise sessions, cooking, games and discussion groups. Off-site excursions are also offered.

Pastoral Services
The staff and administration place great importance on the spiritual life of the individual. Pastoral counseling and religious services are offered.

Unisex Hair Salon
Services are arranged upon request.

Transportation
Trained and caring drivers use handicap-accessible vehicles that provide door-to-door service and, when necessary, serve wide geographic areas.
