Services Provided
A fairly full range of angiography services is provided to both inpatients and outpatients at our hospital. Most of the angiographic procedures are performed on an outpatient basis. Full angiography services are provided with the exception of cardiac angiography. This would include both aortography and selective neck and cerebral procedures and selective visceral procedures. In addition to angiography, venography is performed on all venous systems with the exception of the cardiac venous system.
In addition to angiography and venography, interventional vascular radiologic procedures such as balloon angioplasty and stenting are provided for multiple arterial systems. Not only does interventional radiology include angioplasty and stent, but lytic therapy is also performed at this hospital.
Most interventional procedures described above (e.g. angioplasty or stent) require an overnight stay or are done on an inpatient basis.
