Arterial Study
This test is done when there is poor circulation of one or both lower extremities.
Echocardiograms with Doppler
Evaluates many parameters, including cardiac function, heart size, valvular appearance, pericardial effusion and wall motion.
Electrocardiograms
Records the electrical activity of the heart. Interpretations provided within 24 hours.
Holter Monitor
Provides information regarding rhythm and rate for a period of 24 to 48 hours. The reason for having this test is to evaluate cardiac rhythm, palpitations and heart block.
Signal Averaged Electrocardiogram
Checks for late potential activity, which, if positive, suggests that a patient is in a higher risk group for developing a significant ventricular arrhythmia.
Stress Tests/Standard and Nuclear Test
Performed to evaluate coronary disease, rate and rhythm, blood pressure response and chest discomfort.
Electroencephalogram/Routine and Sleep
Performed on those with head injury or trauma, headaches or pain, syncope or blackouts.
