The Center for Spine Rehabilitation, a member of the North Shore - Long Island Jewish Health System, provides diagnosis specific and comprehensive non-surgical care for patients with back pain, neck pain and other spinal disorders. Following a thorough history, physical examination, review of radiographic findings, and interpretation of previous diagnostic testing, an appropriate therapeutic plan is established. If the patient's source of pain remains unclear, additional evaluations might be recommended (e.g. electrodiagnostics, diagnostic injection).
The Center for Spine Rehabilitation provides the full spectrum of flouroscopically guided selective spinal injections in a safe outpatient environment. Physical therapy in a modern state-of-the-art facility is provided by a team of experienced spine therapists who are in continual contact with prescribing physicians.
Surgery or chronic pain management strategies may be recommended for patients who fail to improve following treatment or who are not be appropriate candidates for the Center for Spine Rehabilitation.
We believe our strategy and services at the Center for Spine Rehabilitation expedites and streamlines care for the patient with spinal pain. We are available to evaluate, offer second opinions, make recommendations, or assume care, depending on the needs of the referring physician. While we are affiliated with many talented specialists in the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, no referral will be made from our center without prior consultation with the patient's referring physician.
