The Pulmonary Division of Glen Cove Hospital includes six physicians who practice internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine. The division also includes an active Respiratory Therapy Department. Services include pulmonary and critical care consultation, pulmonary function testing and interpretation, and exercise testing.
The Respiratory Therapy Department is directed by James Kiefer and Assistant Director Tom Howard. This department provides inhalation therapy, oxygen therapy, and chest physical therapy 24 hours a day. Pulmonary Function Testing is also performed at the hospital 5 days a week.
