The North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System offers a full range of services to the Long Island area. Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Services (S.T.A.R.S.) provides high quality rehabilitation to a diverse population with orthopedic, neurologic, sports and work-related injuries/disorders. Our locations in East Meadow and Roslyn provide traditional rehabilitation services such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Aquatic Rehabilitation, Hand Therapy and Physiatry, as well as complementary medical services including Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, and Nutritional Counseling. Our experienced and highly skilled staff of therapists, physicians and athletic trainers truly understands the meaning of quality care and promotes the Health System's commitment to service excellence. Each clinical staff member has credentials from the appropriate governing body of their discipline.

The facilities are fully equipped to take you through each stage of the rehabilitation process. We have the latest equipment from the leading manufacturers in the industry (Cybex, Body Master, Strive, Tectrix). All this equipment allows us to tailor a rehabilitation program to your specific needs and goals.

S.T.A.R.S. participates in most insurance and managed care plans. Medicare, Workers Compensation, and No Fault cases are all welcome. On-site insurance and billing coordinators are available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
