Hearing Test

Hearing tests are provided routinely to all newborns. All newborns have a hearing screening soon after they are born. You will be visited by an audiologist technician after your baby is screened. Early detection of hearing impairment within the first few months of life can avert many future obstacles to a child's development. It allows audiologists and speech-language pathologists to provide the baby with training and devices needed to help overcome the problems associated with hearing impairment.
