Our Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery is a recognized leader in its field. Our surgeons utilize the most advanced treatments in cardiac surgery, such as a minimally invasive approach, use of radial artery grafts, endoscopic vein harvesting, off-pump surgery and the aortic center using state of the art technology - endovascular graft.
Heart disease patients receive state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment through our Cardiac Services program. Our internationally recognized physicians are professional authorities in preventative, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, and care for patients with heart disease as well as those who are at risk.
Patient care does not stop at treatment for us. Our Cardiac Patient Education and Wellness programs bring classes, workshops and support groups to patients and families and cover a variety of topics, including guided imagery, nutrition and complementary modalities.
We also provide education for our staff with our Continuing Staff Education program so that we remain at the forefront with new techniques and technologies to provide optimal patient care.
Under that same premise, our Cardiology Fellowship Program, one of the largest in the region, trains the highest caliber of fellows in cardiovascular disease and specialization in interventional cardiology.
