My experience as an administrative fellow at North Shore-LIJ was truly amazing. The different people I have been able to meet and work with during my rotations are what make this experience so rewarding. My preceptors in each rotation were incredible resources who encourage me to attend a wide range of meetings throughout the health system and in the New York metropolitan area, as well as work on projects both independently and in teams. They were always willing to answer my questions, help me learn and grow professionally, and served as a powerful guide to the health system. In addition the people I met and worked with in each rotation were welcoming and excited about the fellowship program. This gave me the opportunity to spend time with, learn from, and interact with many different people in the Health System including clinical leaders, administrative professionals, and patients.
