| The Inpatient Service is a locked, co-ed bed facility for children (ages 4-12) with acute psychiatric disorders requiring a secure setting. The objectives are rapid stabilization of the child and family after the precipitating crisis and post-discharge access to community, home and school supports. With a behavior modification milieu, individual, group, family and cognitive therapy as well as pharmacotherapy are available. Also offered are structured recreation and socialization, an on-site school program and aftercare coordination with schools and community agencies. |

Contact the intake coordinator at 718-470-3550 between 8 a.m. and 4 pm with clinical and insurance information. For acute emergencies after hours, bring the patient to the Emergency Room for evaluation.
Insurance Accepted:
Medicaid and most managed care plans are accepted. The intake coordinator will verify coverage and initiate contact with managed care companies as necessary.
