20-bed acute inpatient psychiatric unit. This unit specializes in the treatment of patients with affective (mood) disorders, as well as brief, DBT-based, inpatient stabilization of patients with Borderline Personality Disorder.

| There are three general adult inpatient units at The Zucker Hillside Hospital, Lowenstein 3, Lowenstein 4, and Lowenstein 6, dedicated to the acute care of individuals with psychiatric disorders. Psychotic Disorders, Affective Disorders, Personality Disorders, Other. Lowenstein 3 specializes in the treatment of Schizophrenia and is the site of a number of research studies involving the treatment of this disorder, including the First Episode Study. Lowenstein 4 houses our program dedicated to the treatment of Russian speaking patients. |
