John DelRowe, MD
John DelRowe, MD, is the Physician-in-Chief of The Department of Radiation Medicine at Glen Cove Hospital.
Dr. DelRowe trained in radiation medicine at New York University School of Medicine and became board certified in radiation oncology in 1985. He spent one year at the University of Washington treating patients with neutrons before working at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx for 19 years. Dr. DelRowe joined the North Shore-LIJ Health System in 2002.
Dr. DelRowe has published peer-reviewed papers on nasopharyngeal cancer and brain tumors, and has been involved in laboratory research. His research also includes being a member of the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group, which develops and publishes clinical studies to define the role of radiation in clinical practice. Dr. DelRowe was the principal investigator for a clinical trial of a novel radiosensitizer for patients with Glioblastoma.
Dr. DelRowe is an Associate Professor at the Einstein College of Medicine.
