Joseph Schulman
Executive Director
The Zucker Hillside Hospital
Mr. Schulman is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the health system’s psychiatric hospital. He joined Zucker Hillside in 2005 as the hospital’s financial officer and served as deputy executive director, overseeing operations and financial management.
Mr. Schulman has worked for the North Shore-LIJ Health System since 2002, when he joined the organization as corporate director of audit and management services in the Westbury office. Previously, he was a manager and operations consultant for Mount Sinai NYU Health System’s Audit Services Department, and managed logistics operations for pediatrics and obstetrics at NYU Medical Center. Earlier, he supervised healthcare client engagements for Arthur Andersen’s risk consulting practice.
Mr. Schulman holds a master’s degree in public administration from New York University, where he also received his professional certificate in accounting. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
