Kidney Recipient Support Group
The North Shore University Hospital Transplant Center proudly offers a monthly support group for patients who have received a kidney transplant. It offers an opportunity for people to share their common experiences, derive emotional support from peers and learn coping strategies.
Speakers address the group periodically on topics such as dietary concerns and managing their medication regimen.
The group meets the 4th Thursday of every month at 5:30 PM in the Transplant Center at 1554 Northern Blvd. in Manhasset. Light refreshments are served.
