Center for Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy at LIJ
The Center for Advanced Endoscopy offers a variety of advanced therapeutic endoscopic services, including:
- Therapeutic ERCP and sphincter of Oddi manometry
- Advanced therapeutic endoscopy in gastroenterologic diseases, including metallic stent placement for gastrointestinal malignancies, and diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound with fine-needle aspiration
- Comprehensive management of chronic and recurrent pancreatitis with pancreatic sphincterotomy, stricture dilation and stent placement
- Comprehensive evaluation of recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding using small bowel enteroscopy and a variety of endoscopic hemostasis methods
- Resection of giant colon polyps with EMR
- Novel endoscopic therapies for heartburn
- Gastrointestinal motility studies
- Video capsule endoscopy
- Transnasal evaluation of the esophagus
Patients Appropriate for Referral:
Patients with a variety of complex bile duct and pancreatic problems, and others who will benefit from endoscopic and colonoscopic interventions.
