Critical Care Anesthesiology at LIJ

The critical care anesthesiologist handles all aspects of the management of the post-surgical patient while in the Post Anesthesia Unit (PACU), including management of postoperative and postanesthestic problems such as hypothermia, hypotension, respiratory insufficiency, postoperative pain, agitation and airway issues.

Hours of Operation:

Seven days a week, 24 hours a day
Anesthesiologists are available at all times.
