When you arrive at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center to deliver your baby, please go directly to the Maternity Admitting Office located in the Labor Delivery Recovery Suite on the third floor. This office is maintained 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please check in there before proceeding to the Labor and Delivery Triage Desk

Bring only what you need for your labor and delivery. Your belongings should be left at home or locked in your car until after delivery. Please leave your jewelry and other valuables at home. Cell phones cannot be used in the medical center. Clothes to wear home can be brought to you the night prior to your discharge.

Upon arrival the person accompanying you will be allowed to leave the car and assist you to the third floor. The driver will then be asked to move the car to the parking garage. Valet parking is available for a nominal fee.
