Visiting

As part of our emphasis on your new family, we encourage and promote a family environment. Visiting hours are 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Please limit the number of visitors you receive to four at a time, including your partner. Any additional visitors may wait in the hospital lobby. Since air flow in your room may be compromised if the room is crowded, limiting the number of visitors to four creates a safer, healthier environment. While you are a patient in the hospital and even after you return home, do not accept any visitor who is ill.

Nighttime visiting for your partner is available upon request. Please notify your nurse if special accomodations will be necessary.

Siblings will be issued identification bracelets. No visitors under the age of 12 other than siblings of the newborn are permitted on the unit. When baby's big brother or sister visits, please make sure that they are accompanied by an adult. If the child is not feeling well, please do not have them come to your room.

Since your baby will be in the room during visiting hours, please ask all visitors to wash their hands upon arrival.
