Lillian Diaz, RN, BSN, MBA
Director of Cardiac and Critical Patient Care Services
Lillian Diaz has been a registered nurse since 1985 and has been an employee of the North Shore-LIJ Health System since December of 1991.
Throughout her years of dedicated service, Lillian has engaged in many opportunities promoting organizational excellence and patient advocacy. Lillian’s clinical experience includes various critical care settings that are inclusive of the emergency department, medical intensive care, cardiothoracic intensive care and surgical intensive care. Lillian has held various leadership roles, including patient care manager of the cardiothoracic intensive care unit, assistant director of the surgical intensive care unit, assistant director of 2 Cohen and, currently, nursing director of cardiac and critical patient care services. Ms. Diaz has established and implemented remote telemetry monitoring in the organization, as well as assuming the role of chair in the organization’s nursing peer review committee.
Lillian received her bachelor of science in nursing degree from the State University of New York Downstate and her master of business administration degree from Saint Joseph’s College.
