Director, Pediatric, Neuroscience and Psychiatric Patient Care Services

Marianne McTyre is the director of pediatric, neuroscience and psychiatric patient care services. She has over 20 years of experience in pediatric critical care functioning and has held leadership roles that include nurse manager of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and director of pediatrics at North Shore University Hospital. In 2005, Ms. McTyre’s leadership responsibilities expanded to include the adult neuroscience continuum at North Shore University Hospital.

Ms. McTyre is a diploma graduate of St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing. She continued her education at Adelphi University, where she obtained her bachelor of science in nursing. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in healthcare management at St. Joseph’s College.
