Meet Dr. Shikowitz

Dr. Mark Shikowitz, MD, FACS

My Personal Philosophy and How It Relates to You

The study of an individual’s facial proportions and angles is what makes each person unique. No two faces are identical, so why should their noses be the same?

My goal is to make your nose look like you were born with it. To achieve this goal, a careful assessment of the facial skin, subcutaneous tissue, and underlying facial skeleton is made. Each individual subunit of the nose must be evaluated by itself and its relationship to the nose as a whole as well as the rest of the face. Once this is accomplished, the cosmetic changes can be made so that the nose falls within the ideal proportions for your own face.

Less is more” may be the key to achieving a natural and esthetically balanced nose and face. A great nose is one that allows your other facial features to become strong and harmonious!
