Welcome to Long Island Jewish Medical Center's Division of Cardiology at the Sandra Atlas Bass Cardiology Center. The Division of Cardiology is devoted to providing innovative, comprehensive, state-of-the-art patient care for all aspects of heart disease.
Our three cardiac catheterization labs are among the most established and respected in the region. Our highly skilled and compassionate staff consists of a multi-disciplinary cardiology team that includes physicians, fellows, nurses, physician assistants, and technologists.
The very latest cardiac innovations, such as a radial artery approach that is used in the majority of our cardiac catheterizations, are utilized to fulfill our mission as a premier cardiac services provider.
Our Electrophysiology Center currently consists of two state-of-the-art labs. You will be treated by an interdisciplinary team that includes recognized leaders in the field with expertise in the treatment of patients with dysrhythmias. Our team of specialists utilize the latest technology available to diagnose and treat all types of abnormal heart rhythms, from the most common to the most complex.
The Sandra Atlas Bass Cardiology Center also encompasses the Nuclear/Stress Lab, Echocardiography Lab, and clinical cardiology services. As one of the New York area's leading cardiac centers, we take pride in bringing together the expertise of each of our healthcare professionals, along with leading edge research and education, in order to provide a true continuum approach to cardiac care.
