Mission
The mission of the Division of Rheumatology and Allergy-Clinical Immunology is to provide high-quality care to patients with rheumatic disease regardless of their socioeconomic status. In addition, members of the division are very active in clinical research and also collaborate with basic scientists at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research.
Another major component of our activities revolves around the training of young doctors who desire to enter the subspecialty of rheumatology. Many of the rheumatologists in the North Shore-LIJ Health System occupy national leadership roles in the areas of education, research and patient care.
