  • The Cushing Neuroscience Institutes (CNI) are centers-of-excellence that specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological and neurosurgical diseases. Named after the founder of modern Neurosurgery, we are based in the beautiful suburbs of New York City, less than a 30-minute drive from John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia Airport. Affiliated with the North Shore-LIJ Health System, one of the largest health care systems in the country, and the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine, the CNI serve thousands of patients from around the country and the world. While our facilities boast the very latest technologies, we are most proud of our physicians, who combine experience with compassion and caring for each patient. We are best known for our treatment of brain aneurysms, stroke, brain tumors, head injury, movement disorders, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders and the entire spectrum of spinal diseases.
